For the 2022-2023 school year, Pine Bluff School District families are able to request internal consideration for student placement on another campus other than the one for which they are zoned, or in one of the virtual or specialized options featured below. Additional restrictions may apply. Transportation to and from a location other than the one for which your Scholar is zoned will NOT be provided by the Pine Bluff School District and will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian. 

Requests for consideration may be made between

May 17 and June 16, 2022

Slots are LIMITED and requests will NOT be processed after the deadline. Requests do NOT guarantee approval.

Once your request has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted by a district liaison

who is associated with your selection to advise you of next steps.

Traditional F2F Options

Pine Bluff School District offers a phenomenal Pre K center for students ages 3 through 5. It is available to all children with the PBSD attendance zone, regardless of financial qualifications.

Our district also features eight time-honored campuses for students in Kindergarten through grade 12. Each campus is designed to be a learning community that not only provides rigorous grade level content and instruction and time for  acceleration, but also ample social opportunities such as extra-curricular clubs, academic and athletic organizations, arts, and STEAM to help build lifelong skills for college and/or career success.

Students in grades 10-12 have additional opportunities to for support and growth toward 21st century skills that include:

  • Individual Student Advisory Teams

  • Student Success Plans

  • Expanded Career/Technical Education (CTE) program with concurrent college credit through SEARK community college

Virtual Options
Pine Bluff School District offers a virtual learning option for its K-12 families with unique situations and flexible scheduling needs.  For some scholars, virtual learning can enhance the opportunity to learn while providing more control over space, place, and time.

Through a partnership with Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative, Pine Bluff School District offers several specialized academies designed to offer differentiated supports and services to students at the secondary level who may need a little extra push toward success.
